One of Wickfire's founders, Chet Hall acts as Wickfire's Chief Executive Officer. Previously, Chet worked as the VP of Product Development at ReachLocal. In this role, he led a team of Product Managers in creating and executing on ReachLocal's product objectives. Chet also headed up ReachLocal's Business Analysis group that sought to understand the details, trends, and opportunities within ReachLocal's operations.
Chet Hall graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Communication in 2003.
One of Wickfire's founders, Jon Brown acts as Wickfire's Chief Technology Officer. Previously, Jon worked as the Director of Automation Technology in ReachLocal's development organization. In this role he designed, developed, and maintained a number of large-scale automated publisher integration and web crawling systems.
Prior to ReachLocal, Jon received a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst followed by a Master's Degree in Language Technologies from Carnegie Mellon.

Katy manages business development, legal, and corporate strategy for Wickfire. Prior to joining Wickfire, she spent a decade as a corporate litigator with a focus in media and advertising law and founded a lifestyle blog that was recognized in Seventeen, Elle, Cosmopolitan, and Buzzfeed.
Katy holds a B.A. from Princeton University and a J.D. cum laude from New York University School of Law. She has been recognized twice by SuperLawyers as a Rising Star, awarded to the top 2.5% attorneys under 40 in each state, and serves on the Board of Directors for the NYU Law Alumni Association.
Anna Kristín Tumadóttir
Director of Operations
Anna oversees the day to day operations of Wickfire. Her experience includes working as the Director of Partner Relations for CouponPal, where she led the creation and process building for their operations team, and focused on growth through strategic partnerships. Prior to this she was the Director of Operations for 58Phases, where her work focused on building and structuring the organization as it grew from a small start-up to a publisher with over a dozen web properties.
Prior to entering the affiliate space in 2009, Anna received a B.S. in Political Science from Macalester College, Minnesota, followed by a Master’s Degree in Strategic Management from The University of Iceland.
Director of Growth
Charlie manages and maintains Wickfire’s review channel. He has a strong background in digital marketing and previously worked as the Head of Marketing for San Francisco-based education startup, StudySoup, leading all their digital marketing efforts. He also worked in affiliate marketing at CouponPal, leading the content marketing, SEO, paid search, and social media strategies while overseeing brand presence online for the company and strategic partners.
Charlie holds a B.S. from the University of California Santa Barbara, with a double major in Communication and Film & Media.
Business Development Manager
Nick is the go-to person for new partnership inquiries and optimization of existing relationships. He has a background in sales and business development, having worked in sales for an Austin-based golf marketing company, CourseTrends. This was preceded by a sales role at Barton Creek Resort, and a long track record of working as a “people person”.
Nick holds a B.S. from the University of California Santa Barbara, with a double major in geography and sociology.
Business Development Manager
Katie has been with Wickfire since 2012, working in operations and campaign management. Most recently she has joined the business development team to work directly with partners and help cultivate new business relationships. She has over 10 years of experience working in digital advertising and was previously a senior advertising account manager for Edmunds.com.
Katie graduated cum laude from Claremont McKenna College with a B.A. in Psychology, and she also received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.
